Minerals represent a part of ingredients for the steel and iron production and are extracted in mines. The raw materials to produce slabs and further raw materials for other industries are transported away from the mines by conveyor systems or trucks.

For the mine operator, the transport customer, and the processor of the raw materials, it is crucial to know the exact quantity of the extracted, transported and delivered raw materials.
